Credits Usage Guide
This guide explains how EasyCoda’s credit system works, helping you better understand and manage your project’s credit usage. EasyCoda adopts a simple, transparent, and efficient credit design.
Credits Overview 🔗
EasyCoda primarily uses Credits to offset model token consumption. Simply put: Credits × 10,000 = Total Tokens. Your initial account comes with 500 free credits, which equals 500 × 10,000 = 5,000,000 total tokens.
Credit Deduction Rules 🔗
Credits are only deducted when you chat with AI agents — other services do not affect your credit balance. Additionally, we only charge for output tokens. Input tokens from you and the agent team (e.g., file reading) are not counted toward credit deductions when cache hits occur.
In short, we only charge for model output tokens and cache-miss tokens. Thanks to EasyCoda’s efficient cache-hit design, development costs are significantly reduced. The 500 free credits in your initial account are more than enough to help you build several large-scale projects.
When a project task is cancelled, credits are only deducted for tasks that have already been completed. For example, if you cancel a task mid-session, the tokens consumed during that session will not be counted toward credit deductions.
EasyCoda supports conversation summarization, and tokens consumed by conversation summarization are not counted toward credit usage.
You can view a project’s credit usage on its detail page. From the project list, click the More Actions button, select Settings from the dropdown menu, and you will be taken to the project detail page.
For an overview of your total account credit usage, click the account avatar button in the bottom-left corner of the console, then select Usage from the popup menu to open the resource usage panel.
Purchasing Credits 🔗
You can purchase credits in two ways on the Pricing page.
-
Upgrade your account. When you subscribe to a Standard or Premium plan, the plan includes a set amount of credits along with other benefits. Included credits are added to your account after each successful monthly billing cycle. Any unused plan credits will expire at the end of the month and will not carry over.
-
Purchase credits separately. You can also purchase a specific amount of credits independently on the Pricing page. Separately purchased credits never expire and will not be cleared if unused.
Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another account.
